Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Introduction

Micromoola ("Micromoola," "we," "us," or "our") operates micromoola.com, a micro-task platform where users complete simple tasks, such as in-store shopping runs, app installs, and online tasks, in exchange for cash rewards. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. By creating an account or using Micromoola, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Who We Are

Micromoola is operated by Ripe Vegetable Holdings LLC dba Micromoola, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at [email protected].

Information We Collect

When you use Micromoola, we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, mobile phone number, and ZIP or postal code (and the city and state or province it's in). If you sign up with a password, it is never stored in plain text; it is hashed. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We keep a record of changes to your ZIP or postal code.

  • Profile information you choose to add: social media profiles (and whether we could confirm each one exists) and warehouse club memberships.

  • Payout information: when you link PayPal by signing in to it, PayPal gives us your PayPal account ID, the email address on your PayPal account, whether that account is verified, and its city, state or province, postal code, and country. We also keep a record of your withdrawals.

  • Task submissions: photos, receipts (including their totals), and text you submit as proof of completing a task, and our review decisions on them.

  • Photo details and location: when you add a photo as proof, your device reads details from it before it's uploaded: where and when it was taken, the make and model of the camera or phone, any editing app recorded in the photo, and a fingerprint of the original file that lets us spot the same photo used twice. With your permission, we also record your device's location at the moment you add a photo. We use this to verify that a submission was made at a plausible place and time, as part of our fraud-prevention process. Some tasks require it; if you decline to share location, you may be unable to complete those tasks.

  • Device and security information: the IP address and browser or device you use to sign in and use Micromoola, a device identifier, and signals such as whether a connection comes from a VPN or proxy or an unusual location. We use these to keep accounts secure, limit the number of accounts per device, and detect fraud.

  • Usage information: pages you visit, actions you take, and errors you run into, collected automatically to understand and improve how the Platform is used. This includes recordings of how you navigate the Platform (such as clicks and scrolling), in which the text on screen, anything you type, and images are hidden.

  • Communications: messages you send us through support chat or email, and the emails and text messages we send you.

We do not collect government ID numbers, bank or card numbers, or other sensitive identifiers beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Micromoola platform

  • Create and manage your account, and verify your email address and phone number

  • Show you tasks available in your area and for your account level

  • Review and verify that submitted tasks were actually completed

  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, and fake submissions, including through location, photo, device, and network checks

  • Enforce suspensions and bans, including preventing a banned person from creating a new account

  • Credit approved task rewards to your account balance and process withdrawals

  • Communicate with you about your account, submissions, payments, or support requests

  • Compile anonymized and aggregated results (such as overall completion rates and general trends) to deliver to the business clients who commission tasks

  • Analyze usage of the platform to improve features and the overall experience

Text Messages (SMS)

We collect a phone number to verify your account and so we can reach you about your account and your task submissions.

Verification codes. When you sign up, or change your phone number, we text you a one-time code to verify it. Verifying a phone number is required to use Micromoola. To deliver these codes and protect against fraud, we share your phone number, and the IP address and device information of the request, with the provider that verifies numbers and sends the codes, which may check the type of line (for example, mobile or VoIP).

Optional programs. Beyond verification codes, we only send text messages if you have separately opted in by ticking the SMS consent box on your account page or during signup. There are two separate opt-ins, recorded separately: account notifications (the status of tasks you have claimed, and your payments) and task alerts (a task is available near you). We do not send marketing text messages. Each consent is recorded on its own, with a timestamp, the phone number it was given for, and the exact wording shown to you at the time. The Text Alerts page shows the program and the exact consent wording.

If you opt in, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, by unticking the box on your account page, or by emailing [email protected]. Replying HELP returns our contact details. Opting out of these programs does not affect your account, your ability to complete tasks, or any payment owed to you: consent to them is never a condition of using Micromoola or of being paid.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that deliver our messages and help us verify numbers and prevent fraud.

Sharing of Photos and Task Content

When you complete a task on behalf of a business client, for example a shopping-run or in-store task, the photos, receipts, and other proof you submit may be shared directly with that client so they can confirm the task was completed as requested. Clients receive the submission content relevant to their task. They do not receive your password, and we limit the account details shared with clients to what is reasonably necessary to fulfill the task, such as your first name if relevant to the task instructions.

Beyond this task-specific sharing and the service providers described below, we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers to run Micromoola and serve you better. They process information on our behalf and under our instructions, and each receives only what it needs for its role. They help us with:

  • Hosting, databases, file storage, and content delivery

  • Sign-in, account security, and fraud prevention (including device identification and network risk checks)

  • Phone number verification and text messages

  • Email delivery

  • Payouts and linking your payout account

  • Checking that social media profiles you add exist

  • Analytics, error tracking, and session recordings

  • Customer support chat

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Micromoola, our users, or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Micromoola uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage):

  • Authentication to keep you securely signed in

  • Security and fraud prevention, including a device identifier

  • Analytics to help us understand how the site is used

  • Support chat to keep your conversation with us available

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

Data Retention

We retain your account and task submission data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the platform, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and accounting obligations. Proof you upload but never submit is deleted automatically after 7 days. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain records, such as payout records (for legal, tax, and accounting purposes) and, if your account was banned, the email address, phone number, PayPal account, and device identifier it was banned with (to prevent the ban from being evaded).

Your Rights

You may contact us at [email protected] to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information

  • Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to the retention exceptions described above

  • Withdraw consent you've given us, such as to optional text messages, where we rely on it

Depending on where you live, including in Canada and in some U.S. states, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and you may have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and within any period the law requires.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Micromoola is intended only for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact [email protected].

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, private storage for task proof that can only be viewed through short-lived links, and access controls that limit what our staff can see and do, with staff actions logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Micromoola after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
